Pour-over timing mode is activated by quickly pressing the timer button five times, which activates an automatic timer for pour-over brewing methods. In espresso timing mode, pressing the button five more times switches the scale to the special espresso extraction mode, which automatically detects the extraction and offers features like auto-zeroing and timing. The flow rate function also allows for precise control during preparation.

With a built-in high-precision pressure sensor, the Timemore Black Mirror Basic Mini offers accuracy of up to 0.1 g. The improved main chip ensures faster interaction with the Mini Scale's operational functions, which is especially beneficial when preparing espresso.
